zeb Consulting AB (“zeb”) is the controller responsible for the processing of your personal data. zeb  determines the purposes, and the methods, of the processing. Respect for our clients privacy is of utmost importance to us, and therefore we have taken measures to responsibly and securely handle your personal data. All processing within zeb is performed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation[1] (“GDPR”) and we have the necessary security measures in place to ensure the protection of your data.

For what purposes do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data for (i) the performance of contractual obligations, (ii) legal obligations, e.g. accounting,  (iii) staff recruitment, (iv) and direct marketing and communication, e.g. upcoming events. We may also provide data to other parties in order to perform relevant duties.

We process personal data, such as name, title, company, e-mail address and telephone number, in order for us to market our products and services directly to you. When we target direct marketing to you, this is done by telephone, e-mail or via our web. We are required to have a legal basis in order to process your data. We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • The processing is necessary to fulfill a contractual duty,
  • The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal responsibility,
  • The processing is necessary for reasons pertaining to the controller or a third parties’ legitimate interest. zeb’s legitimate interests are staff recruitment and direct marketing of our services.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect personal data that are necessary for our activities, such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, company, and title. It is necessary to process your data in order to perform our services. Personal data are collected directly from you, but we may also collect data from a third party, e.g. in staff recruiting processes where we collect data from the recruiting company. We also collect personal data from public sources, such as LinkedIn. Additionally, information regarding your use of this website is collected through cookies.

How long do we store personal data?

Your personal data will only be stored as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer relevant for the purposes for which they were collected.

To whom do we transfer personal data?

Your personal information will only be transferred or disclosed to third parties to the extent relevant in order to perform our services our comply with legal obligation. zeb contracts data processors to perform certain tasks, such as operation and support of the IT-environment. zeb also discloses personal data to authorities, such as Skatteverket (Swedish National Tax Agency).

zeb remains responsible, and thus maintain the same requirements, for the security and secrecy at our data processors. If personal data is transferred outside EU/EES (“third country”), we ensure the legality of the transfer. We don’t use contractors in third countries without ensuring an adequate level of protection, as well as ensuring compliancy with GDPR for the transfer itself. All transfers to data processors are prerequisite to contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission regarding privacy protection.

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data beyond the terms of this Privacy Policy unless we have a legal obligation to do so.
