About

As head of zeb Nordics’ compliance services team, Alice Hammarroth works with a wide range of financial institutions, with a particular focus on customer protection, corporate governance, and internal controls. She provides advisory and oversight support to each client’s compliance and risk teams – what financial services companies call the second line of defence – and also works directly with their business units to help them manage risks and follow regulations in their day-to-day operations, the so-called first line of defence.

Expertise

Alice joined the company in 2013 with a master’s in law and is today a Senior Manager and board member of zeb Nordics. Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a strong interest in history. At work, she values close collaboration with clients and tailors her advice to their specific needs and risk profiles. Alice particularly enjoys translating regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations by developing effective internal frameworks – creating solutions that are sound in theory and successful in practice.
